An established commercial Managing Agents are looking for an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager to provide support to a Senior Facilities Manager. You will be based in a large, complex multi-tenanted building (over 100,000 sq ft) and be a first point of contact for all commercial tenants and site contractors, You may also provide facilities support to other buildings.
You are likely to have worked for a Managing Agent or perhaps a commercial Landlord. You will have a good working knowledge of how multi-tenanted buildings are maintained and will have had exposure to service charge budgets. This role will suit an experienced Assistant Facilities Manager or aspiring Facilities Manager who is looking to gain experience with a trophy asset.
The successful Assistant Facilities Manager will have experience of / be involved in:
- Occupier relationship management
- H&S and Statutory compliance
- Contract and contract management including RAMS and Permits to Work
- Placemaking
- Service charge budgeting
- Sustainability / Green initiatives
This is an amazing opportunity to gain experience on a high profile and complex trophy asset. You will be able to manage and prioritise a busy workload whilst still keep a close eye on the finer detail. The successful Assistant Facilities Manager will enjoy a client facing role, be focussed on improving the customer journey and be confident dealing with both technical and soft service contract teams. Strong organisational, communication and financial skills are key to making this role a success. IOSH Managing Safely qualification is highly advantageous.
