Property Manager / Block Manager with at least 5 years’ experience OR Senior Property Manager / Senior Block Manager able to run all aspects of a small block portfolio. Salary £44,000 - £55,000 depending on experience.
Our client is looking for an experienced person to join their West End property consultancy where they have an opportunity for EITHER a Senior Property Manager or a Property Manager with at least 5+ years’ experience.
You’ll be responsible for a busy portfolio of smaller blocks that are largely in Kensington, Chelsea, Fulham, Putney and will have the support of a back-office team that will look after all the non-client nitty gritty admin, leaving you to concentrate on the client facing aspects. The position would particularly suit a block manager with MIRPM or AIRPM, who would enjoy working in a stable, smaller company that provides a friendly team environment and a more personal client quality driven service.
Your main duties will include:
- Responsibility for a busy portfolio of up to 300 leasehold units
- Setting and managing service charge budgets
- Building strong relationships with clients
- Dealing with contractors
- Carrying out inspections and attending meetings
- Dealing with lease queries
- Ensuring properties are compliant with H&S incl fire risk assessments
- Involvement with buildings insurance
- Appointing surveyors and coordinating any major works
We are looking for someone who enjoys a hands-on approach, has strong block management experience likely to be in the region of 5-10 years that includes experience of managing small blocks, a professional approach and a stable career background, ideally MIRPM but AIRPM as a minimum and who enjoys delivering a high-quality service.
