We’re recruiting for a really great independent West End managing agent who are looking for a block manager with 2-5 years’ experience to come and join the team at the beginning of the New Year. You’ll be dealing with a portfolio of blocks in St Johns Wood, Maida Vale and other parts of Central London and the West End with support from a back-office team that will look after all the non-client nitty gritty admin, leaving you to concentrate on important day to day aspects. The position would particularly suit a block manager with AIRPM, who would enjoy working in a stable, smaller company with a brilliant team environment.
Your main duties will include:

Responsibility for a portfolio of London blocks including some Super Prime clients

Ensuring regular site visits and inspections are completed

Dealing with planned and reactive maintenance issues

Liaising with contractors regarding works required, quotes etc

Ensuring properties meet health & safety standards incl risk assessments

Involvement with service charge budgets

Dealing with leaseholder queries and continuing ongoing strong relationships

Appointing surveyors and coordinating any major works
You will be a warm approachable and confident property manager with high levels of professional integrity, an eye for detail and be able to demonstrate experience of managing a fluctuating workload. You should enjoy a hands-on approach and between 2-5 years’ experience in residential block management and ideally AIRPM.
