A leading boutique West End property management company are looking for a block manager to oversee a small portfolio of high-end residential blocks where the portfolio is mostly in Central London, close to the office in the West End. It’s primarily a leasehold block portfolio where service delivery is at the forefront of everything you do. You should be a self-starter with the drive and enthusiasm to be an important member of the property management team and have a can-do attitude and work well within a team environment while also able to work independently and use your initiative.

 

The position would particularly suit someone with a warm and approachable manner who is looking to focus on running a smaller portfolio while delivering a high-quality service. An experienced property manager - block manager with 18 months – 3 years’ relevant experience (ideally AIRPM) who would prefer working with a company that has a real connection with clients and a great team environment as you’ll be joining a company that has an excellent reputation with freeholders and also one of the nicest small teams in block management.

 

As property manager you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of leasehold developments and be involved with all aspects of the management of the portfolio and you’ll gain exposure to a wide range of properties that includes some unique stock. Duties include: 

  • Responsibility for a property portfolio of London residential blocks including some Super Prime blocks
  • Regular site visits and carrying out inspections  
  • Dealing with planned and reactive maintenance issues 
  • Liaising with and instructing contractors
  • Ensuring properties meet health & safety standards including acting on risk assessments 
  • Involvement with service charge budgets 
  • Dealing with leaseholder queries and continuing ongoing strong relationships  
  • Appointing surveyors and coordinating any major works
