A very high-profile site in Central London are looking for a Caretaker / Cleaner to work as part of team responsible for the upkeep and general care of its beautiful grounds. The Caretaker / Cleaner will work Monday - Friday and be happy working a 40 hour week, 8 hours shifts on a roster covering 7am to 7pm. This role is predominantly based outside in the grounds of the estate.
It is likely that you will have previous cleaning experience and be comfortable carrying out a variety of hygiene and safety based tasks. You may be using a leaf blower, emptying bins, moving furniture or carrying out other outdoor caretaking duties. This role will have some face to face contact with staff and visitors so a friendly manner, strong english language skills and a customer service focus are important!
You will need to be physically fit to carry out this role successfully and it is a requirement that you can lift up to 20kg. You will be a positive person with a can-do attitude and enjoy being outdoors year round. Good references are essential and a DBS check will be carried out by this employer.
