Facilities Manager - Managing Agent Portfolio - to £45,000 per annum plus package

Have you worked for a commercial Landlord or a Managing Agent?  Would you like to manage a varied portfolio of sites?  Are you a Facilities Manager with a proven track record in delivering an outstanding customer experience?  Have you worked with a service charge budget?

A confident and professional Facilities Manager is needed to manage a mixed portfolio of commercial multi-tenanted buildings / sites on behalf of a single major Landlord.  The portfolio comprises office buildings, retail parks and even some light industrial sites.  Some sites have onsite staff and require minimal input - mainly budgeting and H&S support, others need a more comprehensive management service.

The successful Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day facilities management across the portfolio. Typical day to day FM duties with a focus on H&S and Statutory compliance.    Key areas of focus to be discussed at interview include:

Customer Experience - client and occupier relationship management

You will be able to confidently demonstrate your experience and knowledge of customer relationship management and the delivery of a 1st class customer journey / experience within a building management setting.  You will enjoy working hand in hand with a major Landlord who expects regular communication and feedback!  This role would suit a Facilities Manager who can build real relationships, enjoys regular face to face meetings and is someone who can think outside the box to resolve challenges!

Service charge budget management

You will have experience of setting and managing large budgets, ideally service charge budgets.  You will understand the service charge process – you must be able to demonstrate this experience at interview.  If your experience as a Facilities Manager includes any variance reporting and / or reconciliation that is highly advantageous.

Hard and soft service delivery

It is essential that the successful Facilities Manager is able to hit the ground running.  You will work closely with the onsite teams (3rd party providers) to deliver the highest standards across all service lines, with a focus on the customer journey at all times. One team, one goal approach! You will coordinate and manage all H&S and statutory compliance requirements for the building.  You will coordinate all building related projects.

This client can offer you autonomy and the ability to truly manage your own workload.  The successful Facilities Manager will join a large, reputable Facilities Management company that has robust systems in place, a solid management structure and great opportunities for long term career progression..  It would be useful if you drive although this is not essential
