Property Management Assistant & Helpdesk - Residential Property Management... Our client is a busy surveyors and property managers in London and they have a great opportunity for an experienced AST property management assistant . They are a progressive and highly respected property company that offers career opportunity to progress and develop in the future. The position is part home and part office based under current circumstances. Please note that similar experience in residential property management is essential.

 

Due to expansion they are looking for an experienced Property Management Assistant to join their Residential AST Team where you will be responsible for dealing with helpdesk queries from tenants and arranging both routine and reactive maintenance for a portfolio of their clients’ properties. Working closely alongside a small team of property managers, you’ll be arranging arranging general repair and remedial works, health and safety inspections and dealing with a host of other queries as well.

 

In addition you’ll also be attending site to carry out occasional inspections or to meet with contactors and generally help improve your understanding of both the properties and works that you are likely to be involved with. In addition providing administrative support to three Property Managers which will help with the effective day to day management of each development within your portfolio.

 

The company provides high standards of service to clients and will expect you to have the same approach so the successful candidate will have similar experience in a property environment that includes dealing with occasional complaints and problem solving. In addition you should be well-organised and have some experience of multi-tasking and prioritising your workload. You should also be professionally presented with good communication skills and strong attention to detail and above all have an enthusiastic approach and a genuine interest and recent experience in the property industry.

 

  • Taking ownership of first line calls and issues arising which will largely be tenants with maintenance queries
  • Updating the property management database with detailed and accurate notes
  • Liaising with tenants, contractors and property managers to arrange minor repairs
  • Assist colleagues in other areas of the property management department
  • Carry out routine property inspections
  • Experience of Propman, Qube or similar management software system preferred
