Sales Manager for an FMCG firm based in Swansea, good base salary + commission & car. An experienced FMCG Sales Manager to grow sales for an exciting business with lots of potential for a motivated and experienced self-starter.

 

      Sales Manager – FMCG

  • Identify and bring on board new national accounts
  • Be the point of contact for existing national account customers to update ranges and grow business organically.
  • Manage and support the UK and international franchisee network
  • Attend meetings with clients and potential clients as well as working alongside an established leadership team to drive the business forward.
  • Generate leads and appointments for preliminary interviews and briefings.
  • Report on and assist with Business Development activities to the HQ management team.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities
  • Assist in the creation of client proposals
  • Identify and explore potential new service types and business opportunities within the group to develop sales channels.
  • Lead, develop and maintain a robust sales plan, introducing our services to brand new customers, and canvassing the existing client base
  • Undertake regular reviews of sales performance, ensuring monthly and periodic revenue and targets are maintained.
  • Monitor and review customer accounts in order to maintain target margins, negotiating with clients in the event of variance.
  • National Account Management of Key Customer Chains
  • Ensure key Franchisee relationships and experience are developed.
  • Ensure Franchisees, employed sales staff, self-employed sales agents and consultants organise, maintain and stretch sales targets and continue to progress.
  • Assist in the set up and sale of territories to new Franchisee’s and to provide them with training to company standards

 

     Essential skills for Sales Manager:

  • A proven track record of experience within FMCG as Sales Manager, delivering sales across multiple accounts, as well as a diverse client base and business development activities
  • Exceptional relationship management and networking abilities
  • Confident and persuasive when visiting, demonstrating and presenting to all levels.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • A personal and professional demeanour and credibility, which commands confidence of external partners, franchisee’s, key stakeholders, clients, senior managers and employees
  • Able to form excellent working relationships with a varied customer base
  • Proficient MS Office abilities
  • Full clean driving licence
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager within FMCG
