Senior Service Charge Accounts Manager is needed for role managing a small team of Service Charge Accountants, working within the Commercial Property Management Department for a friendly, commercial property management firm in central London. As well as preparing & allocating work for the team of service charge accountants, you’ll be the focal point within the department for liaising with the Asset Managers, Landlord & Tenant Team and Property Managers. Ideally ACCA or CIMA, you’ll be managing a small team, giving advice & guidance on complex legal matters, preparing cash flow forecasts, budget preparation and year end accounts.
Senior Service Charge Accounts Manager
- Managing the service charge team including appraisals
- Preparing & authorising work for the team – allocating portfolios
- Managing legal processes including recoveries, disputes and lease advice relating to service charges
- Monitoring the Horizon PM systems
- Preparing cashflow for major service charge works and communication with tenants
- Preparing service charge accounts and budgets
- Providing information for projects including bank re-financing
Experience:
- Excellent Knowledge of Service Charges
- Preparation of year end accounts, budgets, vacation accounts, tenant queries, leases.
- Thorough understanding of RICS commercial service charge code and legislation around long leaseholders (Landlord & Tenant Act)
- General overview of systems.
- MRI Qube Horizon
- Commercial property experience or mixed-use
- Team Management
- Extensive experience using the Expense Recovery section.
- Able to lead and manage a small team.
