Have you worked for a commercial Landlord or a Managing Agent?  Do you  want to look after a portfolio of commercial buildings for a single investment landlord? Are you looking for a smaller portfolio of sites where you can add value and deliver a really positive customer experience?  Are you a Facilities Manager with a proven track record in delivering an outstanding customer experience?  Have you worked with a service charge budget?

A confident and professional Facilities Manager is needed to manage a small portfolio of commercial multi-tenanted buildings on behalf of a major Landlord.  The portfolio comprises 8 buildings, mainly smaller sites with the flagship building in the portfolio based in the heart of the West End.  The successful Facilities Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day facilities management of each building. Typical day to day FM duties with a focus on H&S and Statutory compliance.    Key areas of focus to be discussed at interview include:

Customer Experience - client and occupier relationship management

You will be able to confidently demonstrate your experience and knowledge of customer relationship management and the delivery of a 1st class customer journey / experience within a building management setting.  You will enjoy working hand in hand with a major Landlord who expects regular communication and feedback!  This role would suit a Facilities Manager who can build real relationships, enjoys regular face to face meetings and is someone who can think outside the box to resolve challenges!

Multi-site Management

You will have experience looking after multiple sites - 8 in this portfolio!  Some will require more time and attention than others although minimum monthly checks apply.

Budget management

You will have experience of setting and managing budgets, ideally service charge budgets but not essential.  You will understand the service charge process – you must be able to demonstrate this experience at interview.  If your experience as a Facilities Manager includes any variance reporting and / or reconciliation that is highly advantageous.

Hard and soft service delivery

It is essential that the successful Facilities Manager is able to hit the ground running.  You will work closely with the onsite teams (3rd party providers) to deliver the highest standards across all service lines, with a focus on the customer journey at all times. One team, one goal approach! You will coordinate and manage all H&S and statutory compliance requirements for the building.  You will coordinate all building related projects.

The successful Facilities Manager will join a large, reputable Facilities Management company that has robust systems in place, a solid management structure and great opportunities for long term career progression.
