Property Manager to £50,000 - 6 month contract - maybe longer - are you available fairly quickly and have good experience in block management? Our client is a high-quality freeholder with a significant portfolio of freehold residential buildings in the West End. They are looking for an experienced property manager to help out with an increased workload for the next 6 months and hopefully on a longer-term basis.
You’ll be managing a portfolio of period style and modern residential buildings, in each you’ll be responsible for the entire building dealing with both common areas and behind the individual front doors where required. Most are residential buildings with tenants but some are mixed-use properties that are retail or office with residential above.
The position includes ensuring that planned maintenance for hard and soft facilities is in place, that reactive maintenance is dealt with efficiently and according to best practice. You’ll also be ensuring that operations and health & safety manuals are updated after refurbishment projects and arranging any future maintenance and servicing contracts.
Your experience should combine elements of property management both of common areas and the occupied tenanted space, facility services, health & safety and some exposure to managing residential buildings or a mixed-use including residential. Ideally you’ll have some of the following qualifications/certificates: IRPM, IWFM, IOSH, fire safety training, NEBOSH
