Property Manager – Commercial and Mixed Use - Central London … super opportunity for an experienced property manager with a few years' experience managing a commercial property portfolio along with some previous exposure of either mixed-use portfolio or some previous residential block management experience for a senior property manager role with highly respected London surveyors and property management company. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of your portfolio comprising both a range of multi-tenanted commercial buildings along with a few mixed-use commercial/residential sites. It’s a well-established client base which includes some flagship buildings, all in Central London.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Comprehensive property management of a portfolio of retail, commercial and residential buildings
  • Dealing with day-to-day matters including liaising with clients, tenants and leaseholders
  • Ensure properties are maintained according to lease terms and are suitably insured
  • Liaising with contractors, FM, building surveyors regarding repairs, redecoration or refurbishment
  • Coordinating health & safety and other compliance
  • Involvement with budgets and service charges
  • Liaising with appropriate agents regarding lease events
  • Managing any onboarding
  • Working with other members of the property management team and/or with other departments where there is common interest
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained

 

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • At least 3 years' proven experience as a property manager that includes managing multi-tenanted commercial buildings as well as some retail and residential
  • Solid understanding of lease terms and the ability to understand complex issues and implement solutions
  • Good knowledge of service charge accounts including year-end and budgets
  • A pro-active approach, excellent organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
