Receptionist and Building Admin - Surrey Quays / Canada Water

We are looking for a super polite and friendly receptionist and building administrator for our client’s modern multi-tenanted office block near Surrey Quays where you’ll be the first point of contact to everyone who works there as well as visitors and contractors. You’re the person with a warm, welcoming personality and smart appearance. A good verbal communicator and helpful manner providing a responsible reception service. Good IT skills and an understanding of social media will also be an advantage here and ideally you're available to start on a temp to perm basis within 2-3 weeks!

In this standalone role we are looking for someone who is happy moving from behind the desk who will go to have an occasional chat with clients to find out what you can do to help make their life even easier. Whether that’s understanding a problem and rectifying it quickly, booking the meeting room, helping clients move in … to hosting an in-house event (eg Christmas get together when permitted of course) that will encourage clients to build and maintain a strong business community network. You’ll also be the Fire Marshall for the building which will mean being familiar with the building evacuation policy and coordinating occasional fire alarm tests etc.

Our client is a property company who run a large number of commercial office buildings across London. They’re looking for that super friendly and polite personality, good face to face customer service skills. Ideal previous experience may include working in a business centre, serviced office, events or hotel background. They are an excellent employer that offer good benefits and the opportunity to progress. Hours are 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

Please note a DBS check will be part of their recruitment process.
